Customer Service
- Greet each customer walking in the restaurant.
- Always be smiling.
- Be attentive to customers walking in (if customers have toddlers ask if they would like a high chair).
- Always look to improve guest experience.
- When cashing out customers, always ask how everything was for them.
- If a customer says the food/service/anything was not good respond, "I’m sorry to hear that, let me grab a manager."
- Thank the customer for coming.
- Invite the customer to return.
- Answer the phone with "Thank you for calling Delhi Skyline, this is (your name) how may I help you?"
- Your #1 priority is to have customers happy while they are here and when they leave.
Responsibilities
- Work as a team with the rest of your crew (servers, production, management, kitchen).
- Have complete knowledge of the POS System.
- Training downtime is to be spent learning each section of the POS System.
- Have complete knowledge of how the walk-in and carry out food is rotated. (crackers, carry out cheese, First in First out Method)
- Repeat every order to the customer at the menu board and window.
- Open and check every single box for accuracy and food quality control before handing it to the customer.
- Bills $20 and up are always to be marked with a counterfeit marker.
- If a bill looks odd or suspicious, call management for help.
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean during a rush. (Wipe down tables, clean front doors, clean windows, wipe down carry out station, etc.)
- Always pick up loose trash on the floor near the entrance, carry out stations, and Steam-Table.
- Keep talking between employees to a bare minimum.
- Continually stock station during your shift.
- Completely stock station at the end of your shift. (Make sure napkins are crease up)
- Bathrooms are to be checked and stocked/cleaned after each shift.
- Wash hands any time you change a task.
- No food or drink is to be consumed around Steam-Table, server station, food prep areas, or carryout stations.
- Treat all employees with respect.
