Position Title: Server

Reports To: Manager on Duty

Position Summary: Takes orders and serves food and drinks to customers in the dining room, drive-thru, and carry out.  Hospitality!

Qualification Standards (Includes, but are not limited to):

• Delivers Skyline Time through personal hospitality.
• Suggestively sells and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service.
• Obtains assigned service station from manager on duty at beginning of shift.
• Writes down all customer orders and special requests without error.  Inputs all orders into computer system.
• Greets customers and assists with special needs.
• Observes customers and responds to additional requests to determine when meal has been completed.
• Ensures all sales are included on guest check.
• Ensures quality products served throughout experience.

Accountabilities

Responsible for dining room and/or counter service to guests. Communicates guest food order with production team.  Processes guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Prepares and delivers beverages, silverware, crackers and food. Observes guest dining experience, responds to additional guest needs, gives guest check and clears table. Is responsible for assigned cleaning and side duties per restaurant guidelines.

Essential Functions

• Must reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
• Carries service tray and bus tubs weighing up to 30lbs between production area and dining room multiple times per shift.
• Reading and writing skills required.
• Interacts verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Operates cash register and makes change accurately.
• Walks and stands during entire shift.
• Frequent washing of hands.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
